Join the Manning College of Information and Computer Sciences for a special conversation with The New York Times technology columnist and bestselling author Kevin Roose, one of the leading voices covering the rapid evolution of AI.
In discussion with Ethan Zuckerman, associate professor of public policy, communication, and information, Roose will explore how advances in artificial intelligence are reshaping not only technical systems, but the social, political, economic, and cultural contexts in which those systems operate. Together they will examine what AI’s rise means for education, public life, and the future of computing in society.
Hosted by Dean Keith Marzullo as part of the Manning CICS Dean’s Lecture Series, this event invites students, faculty, staff, alumni, and community members to engage in a timely conversation about one of the most consequential technologies of our time.
A reception will follow the program. This event will be live-streamed and recorded.
