About this Event
151 Presidents Drive, Amherst, Massachusetts 01003
Queer activist and international fiber artist Michael Sylvan Robinson (they/he) leads a textile charm-making activity. Inspired by street and protest art and rooted in socially-engaged art practice, participants will acknowledge fears in facing current societal challenges, and transmute those fears into fiber art protection charms.
Participants may drop into the session with the understanding that creating their own textile collage “patch” will probably take at least an hour. All levels of experience are welcome.
