Join us in celebrating the Class of 2028 in planting the Class of 2028 Class Tree.

We are planting a Sweetgum 'rotundiloba' which is a cultivar of Sweetgum (Liquidambar styraciflua 'Rotundiloba') that has leaves with uniquely rounded lobes (or points).

The Sweetgum tree will be part of the Frank A. Waugh Arboretum collection of over 8000 trees.   The Frank A. Waugh Arboretum at UMass Amherst is accredited at the highest level of accreditation, Level IV, by the ArbNet Accreditation Program since 2018.
