DBT skills can help to reduce challenging behaviors and cope with sudden or intense surges of emotion. In this workshop, students will learn how to:

  • more effectively manage intense emotions
  • live more fully in the present moment
  • more effectively communicate and express their needs
  • more effectively negotiate relationships

Skills covered in this workshop include:

  • mindfulness
  • emotion regulation
  • distress tolerance
  • interpersonal effectiveness
