Join us for an inspiring and educational evening with James Beard Award-winning chef Sherry Pocknett, and her daughters, Cheyenne and Jade Galvin, as they explore the intersection of Indigenous foodways, resilience, and climate action.  This event will feature a rich conversation between Sherry and her daughters, a cooking demo, and special menu showcasing their unique approach to sustainable and Indibenous cuisine.

Sherry Pocknett is a Mashpee Wampanoag chef and caterer.  She is the owner of the Sly Fox Den Too restaurant in Charlestown, Rhode Island. Sly Fox is both a restaurant and cultural center dedicated to educating the public about  Indegenous foodways, culture, and history.In In 2023, Pocknett received the James Beard Award for Best Chef in the Northeast.  She is the first Indigenous woman to be honored by the James Beard Foundation.
