Independently curated by undergrads K. F. Otis and Edwina Polanco, Illusions of Certainty aims to amplify the voices of student artists on global subjects, issues, and events through the use of art. The exhibition includes eight student artists who have created new works over the spring semester specifically for this exhibit. Algorithmic Complacency, Asian-American Studies, the Russo-Ukrainian War, and Transgender Rights are some of the themes that are being explored.

This exhibition will function as a collective opportunity to foster a closer sense of belonging, promote curiosity and inclusion, and facilitate a safe space for growth in the midst of discourse. Please join us for the opening reception on Thursday, May 1st at the Student Union Art Gallery to speak with the artists about their works and the curators about how this exhibit was made possible.
Normal Gallery Hours: 11-6 Weekdays, 12-4 Saturdays
Illusions of Certainty will be on view from April 28th through May 9th.
