Chef Iliana de la Vega is a Mexican-born chef who has dedicated her professional life to the study and dissemination of the Mexican gastronomy. Chef Iliana de la Vega won worldwide acclaim for her restaurant and cooking school in Oaxaca, El Naranjo, which was featured in numerous newspapers and magazines, such as The New York Times and Bon Appetit. She is also a 2019 James Beard Award semifinalist for Best Chef: Southwest, a 2020 James Beard Award semifinalist for Best Chef: Texas and a 2022 James Beard Award winner for Best Chef: Texas.
