Homayoun Sakhi is a master of the rubab, Afghanistan’s revered twenty-one-stringed lute, an instrument famous for its haunting, soulful timbre. A virtuoso of the tabla, Salar Nader fuses Afghan and Indian percussion, highlighting the musical parallels between two diverse yet harmonious traditions.
