Our featured speaker is Yamiche Alcindor, an American journalist and Washington correspondent for NBC News. Alcindor is a widely respected voice offering insightful analysis on a wide range of critical issues. She has written extensively on the intersection of race and politics, covering topics such as the impact of President-elect Trump’s policies on working-class communities, immigration, and breaking news from regions including Africa, the Middle East, and Asia. Alcindor has also reported on the presidential campaign of Senator Bernie Sanders, the legacy of President Obama, and the broader effects of police violence on communities and children.
