The Center for Justice, Law, and Societies (CJLS) at UMass Amherst is hosting the Northeast Law and Society Retreat on Friday, September 27 at the Campus Center. The agenda features plenary panels on public-facing research and law and democracy. Paul Collins, associate professor of legal studies and political science at UMass Amherst, will be a panelist during the session on research. A schedule is available on the event website.

UMass affiliates (students, faculty, and staff) are free to attend and do not need to register. There is no cost for non-UMass graduate student workshop participants, but registration is required. Regular registration is $30 which includes a lunch and reception.
