The UMass Bee Campus Committee invites you to their first Moth Night! Join us for a fun evening of moth themed activities and moth watching with experts. We will observe moth caterpillars, create moth arts and crafts, learn to identify adult moths and learn about the moth life cycle. We will set up moth lights to attract these gorgeous nighttime pollinators. Dressing up as your favorite moth/ insect is optional but encouraged! Come learn about the diversity, beauty, and importance of moths in Massachusetts. Open to all ages!

In the event of poor weather this event will be held on 7/23 from 8-10pm.

Where: The Pavilion on Orchard Hill https://maps.app.goo.gl/msDTtWDf3L9twt1u7, free evening parking is available in Lot 49 https://maps.app.goo.gl/1yrmXpuijoheZ2pa

What to bring: Water, snacks, and comfortable clothes you don't mind getting dirty.

Accessibility: This will be an outdoor event primarily on grass. There are paved paths to the Orchard Hill Pavilion, and moth lights will be set up scattered across a grassy hillside with uneven terrain. Masks are not required at this event (and are welcome!). Please be mindful of your own and group safety. If you or anyone in your household are not feeling well, please do not attend this event. Please let us know if there is anything we can do to accommodate you at this event by reaching out to abolesfassle@umass.edu.
