Come visit two fantastic collections. The University of Massachusetts Department of Earth, Geographic, and Climate Sciences, home to the Office of the Massachusetts State Geologist, hosts the Rausch Mineral Gallery and now has expanded thanks to a generous gift by the family of Joseph Goldstein, former Professor and Dean of Engineering at the University of Massachusetts. Dr. Goldstein was world renowned for his research in meteoritics, material science, and electron microbeam analytical techniques. We also host the Lawrence Osborn Fossil Collection.
