DESCRIPTION:STRIPE (Strategies and Tactics for Retention through Inclusive 
 Promotion Evaluation) Training Workshops are available for members of coll
 ege\, school\, and department personnel committees.\n\n \n\nAttend a STRIP
 E Training Workshop for an engaging small-group discussion aimed at minimi
 zing bias in the faculty evaluation and promotion process. This workshop b
 uilds on the STRIDE Faculty Recruitment Workshop\, which addresses bias du
 ring recruitment. In this two-hour session\, participants will learn strat
 egies and best practices to reduce inequities\, effectively tackle unconsc
 ious bias\, and promote inclusivity in faculty promotion and tenure cases.
 \n\n \n\nThe STRIPE Training program is offered by the Office of the Provo
 st's Faculty Diversity unit\, in collaboration with UMass ADVANCE\, and in
  consultation with the Office of Faculty Development and the Academic Pers
 onnel Office.
