This virtual group offers a structured-yet-flexible space for parents and caregivers who are navigating the challenges of supporting a college student struggling with substance misuse. With bi-monthly drop-in sessions, the program aims to foster connection, reduce stigma and isolation, and provide access to trusted information and tools rooted in evidence-based family support models (such as CRAFT – Community Reinforcement and Family Training). Each session includes a blend of open dialogue, skill-sharing, and resource education tailored to the concerns of participating caregivers. Facilitated by staff from the Center for Counseling and Psychological Health and UMass Recovery.
