Of special interest in the exhibit’s live bug collection are hissing and giant cave cockroaches, North American beetles, tarantulas, and crickets. The exhibit’s preserved bug collection features butterfly and moth specimens from both the Pioneer Valley and around the world. Located on the second floor of Fernald Hall, visitors can access the exhibit by taking the left-hand staircase on the first floor of Fernald Hall. The exhibit is in the hallway at the top of the stairs.
