With Voices of Data Science, our mission is to provide a platform to amplify the voices of data scientists and foster a robust and inclusive community of individuals who share a vision for utilizing data science ethically.

Voices of Data Science (VDS) is an annual data science conference hosted at UMass Amherst and open to undergraduate and graduate students interested in pursuing data science and related fields as a career.

This year, Voices of Data Science will feature insightful discussions led by data scientists, AI researchers, and industry practitioners across a variety of application domains, centered on the theme Agentic AI and Autonomous Systems: The Future of Computing. As we prepare for our sixth annual conference, we are excited to once again bring the community together to explore emerging advancements in intelligent agents, autonomous systems, and the evolving role of AI in shaping the future of computing.

This event is open to all undergraduate and graduate students at all universities, as well as staff and faculty at UMass Amherst.
