About this Event
151 Presidents Drive, Amherst, Massachusetts 01003
Wild Clay is an artistic and environmental exploration of the Tan Brook, the source of UMass Amherst's campus pond and an important geological record of the glacial history of the Connecticut River Valley. The brook actually runs directly under the Bromery Center for the Arts, and participants will learn more about Tan Brook's connection to campus and find out about the flora, fauna and "wild" clay that is part of the brook's riparian ecosystem. Everyone will have a chance to make a clay tile that will be part of a mosaic that tells the Tan Brook's story.
