DESCRIPTION:Wild Clay is an artistic and environmental exploration of the T
 an Brook\, the source of UMass Amherst's campus pond and an important geol
 ogical record of the glacial history of the Connecticut River Valley. The 
 brook actually runs directly under the Bromery Center for the Arts\, and p
 articipants will learn more about Tan Brook's connection to campus and fin
 d out about the flora\, fauna and "wild" clay that is part of the brook's 
 riparian ecosystem. Everyone will have a chance to make a clay tile that w
 ill be part of a mosaic that tells the Tan Brook's story.
